Limericks, Cinquains, Diamantes, Couplets and Haikus are just some of the many types of poetry our kindergarten through 6th graders try their hand at. After putting together a poetry portfolio, the children choose the poems they would like to enter in our annual contest. The winners are given the opportunity to recite their poetry to the entire student body and later on post in the halls of Oneonta for all to enjoy.
