SPARK OF LOVE
Every year at Christmas time, we join our local fire department and collect toys for children in the Spark of Love drive. The children collect toys and place them in a large box in each classroom. At the end of the two week collection period, each classroom walks down to our local fire department and we then place them in the collection bins at the department. The children learn that there are other children in the world who are not as fortunate as they are and with this information they really take charge and pride in giving back. The walk to the fire department is just a small reward for the children during this very special event.
